Princeton, New Jersey – We are excited to welcome Ryan Yanase – Commercial Strategy Consultant to the PSG Life Sciences team! Ryan brings nearly two decades of experience driving growth for life science research solutions, including cloud-based software and essential services like genotyping, genetic background testing, and microbiome analysis. His experience spans basic and pre-clinical research across academia, biotech, CROs, global pharma, and government, with a focus on supporting labs utilizing animal models.
Ryan brings a unique blend of experience in in vivo research and outsourced service sales. He has a track record of securing commercial partnerships with over 175 global academic and industry research organizations. His success lies in understanding the specific needs of labs utilizing animal models, particularly genetically engineered models (GEMMs) and alternatives. This expertise extends to creating and winning commercial and go-to-market strategies for companies selling into the early research and development space.
With this comprehensive background, Ryan can help PSG Life Sciences customers develop targeted sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed their strategic and revenue goals.
In his last role, Ryan led sales and product development for a VC-backed biotech startup that transitioned to private equity ownership. He executed go-to-market strategies for new products and acquisitions, managing value propositions, sales pipelines, and teams to achieve revenue growth. He also led business development efforts, securing strategic partnerships to fuel expansion.
Ryan holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee and lives in San Diego, CA. Outside of work, his passions include cheering on his favorite sports teams, exploring global cultures, and spending quality time with his wife and children.
